Gurudev Swami Sivananda Says Man- Mind = God. In trains they detach and attach new coaches. Just like that we have to detach our mind from worries and attach it to the Lord. If you use a new broom stick first time it will shed dust also. You can't throw it away. You have to clean the floor with it only. In due course the broom stick will stop shedding dust and will co-operate with you in cleaning the floor. Just like that mind will trouble you, when you try to change the direction of the mind initially. You have to use the same mind and try to divert its way in a best thoughts initially with firm discrimination and determination. Then automatically it will follow suite.
For this first you have to do all your duties in the name of Lord and accept the fruits as his prasad. Always have a background of thought in the name of Lord. Whenever you find it difficult go to the background and rest in the name. This will help you to maintain tension free Life. and will save your heart for full life term.

Dearness Allowance Discripancy

Dearness Allowance: Every body is Asking about the fixation of the D.A.

D.A.
1.06: 24% ------ 0%
7/06: 29% ------ 2%
1/07: 35% ------- 6%
7/07: 41% ------- 9%
1/08: 47% ------ 12%
7.08: 54% ------- 16%

By way of reducing the Dearness allowance the monetary increase is reduced.
IF pre revised pay is Rs. 1500.00 (Pay+DP) he will get with 24% da
= 1500+ 360 =1860 as on 1/06
Now his Revised Pay is Rs.1860/= (1000*1.86 =1860)
hence the D.A. is Zero.
For 1/07 = 1500 * 5% increase in pre revised he will get D.A increase: Rs.75/=
Now after pay revised his pay is 1860 D.A. increase is only 2% hence the da increase will be Rs. 36 only. But the Grade pay etc has to be taken into account. hence it is understood they have fixed the da % as above.
best thing is we have to wait till the G.O. is issued with full working sheet.

Net pension Rs.12981 (15965-2984) less commutation)

Pension already drawn as on 1.1.06. Rs. 10892.
increase due to CPC as on 1.01.2006 Rs.12981-10892 = 2089

Pension as on 1.8.2008 Revised: Rs.15535 (D.A.16% + revised pension)
Pension already drawn: 1.8.2008 Rs.13465
Increase due to cpc as on 1.8.2008 Rs. 2070

Percentage increase to already drawn Basic pension+D.P = 2070/11190 *100= 18.5%

Dearness Allowance after CPC approved:
1.01.06 --- 0 %
1.07.06 --- 2%
1,01.07 --- 6 %
1.07.07 --- 9 %
1.01.08 --- 12%
1.07.08 --- 16%


So pensioner get 18.5% increase in their pension. Thanks to cpc.
